eLearning from The American Heart Association

Provide essential training and save time with this flexible alternative learning program that combines a self-paced online portion with a hands-on coaching session and skills evaluation led by a certified ZEE trainer.

For more than 50 years, workplaces across North America have trusted ZEE Medical for their first aid, safety, emergency, and training solutions. With nearly 80 percent of cardiac arrests occurring outside the hospital, providing appropriate rescuer training at the workplace is an essential element of an effective safety program.

In an effort to continue providing the best possible service to meet our customers’ needs, ZEE is pleased to offer Heartsaver® eLearning training programs from the American Heart Association (AHA), the leading authority in resuscitation science, education, and training.

All AHA eLearning courses are blended three-step learning programs that offer a flexible, time-saving alternative for workplaces that need to provide first aid, CPR, and AED training. Programs include three parts:

  • Part 1: A cognitive, self-directed online portion that can be completed at any web-enabled workstation at the student’s convenience.
  • Part 2: A hands-on skills coaching session with an AHA-certified ZEE Trainer, during which students will practice the skills learned during their online training, receive coaching on proper technique, and have an opportunity to ask questions.
  • Part 3: An unassisted skills evaluation with an AHA-certified ZEE Trainer immediately following the coaching session.

Upon successful completion of all three parts, students receive a course completion card valid for two years. Your ZEE Trainer will work with your organization to determine the appropriate time to conduct the skills counseling and evaluation sessions.
